About 15 years ago, I started a project in my dingy SOMA loft that would span four years and follow me across three continents. RETRO|redact was originally a set of high fidelity studies for larger wall-sized acrylics and sculpted pieces, but none actually ended up in their intended final forms.
I’m happy to announce that in late 2024, I’ll be starting on a new collection called “Retro|redact|Redux”, a series of select pieces from the original collection that I plan to reimagine and ginormousize, drawing from experiences during my recent foray into muraling and street art.
